A-Rod: When to draft?

Postby ejay508 » Wed Mar 18, 2009 11:47 pm

Thinking 3rd round is about right in a 12-team non keeper league, anything after that is a good deal. What u think?

I'd be willing to take Arod earlier in H2H than in Roto.

I would bet that someone is willing to take A-Rod by late 2nd round in most drafts. You may be able to get him in the 3rd in some, but he won't go later than that.

personally i wouldn't touch him until at least the 5th only because i hate wasting picks on guys that are only going to put up numbers for half a year. that early in the draft there is always going to be someone else that will produce for you all year. in most of my drafts he's ranged anywhere from late 2nd round to early 6th..no thanks. not worth the wait unless you're in a keeper league, but then you probably already kept him anyway
