I would have to agree with the others. I think Zimmerman is your best option. You need a 3B and I actually think he is very good value where you are getting.

As far as arms there are definitely some good ones left with Cain/Wainwright/and Greinke still available. Ultimately though, you need a 3B and there is a very good 3B available, so it seems pretty simple.

I also like Harang this year if he is still around when you finally get another pick.

I'd go Zim or Peralta for hitters. If you want to shore up pitching go with Cain or Grienke. Good luck.

gotsta go zim since you need a 3B and thats one stiff position with arod going down.... peralta will probably put up better numbers tho IMO, so value peralta, position scarcity and needs ZIMMERMAN.... help with mine if you can

ok so im up again in bout 4 picks and there is still some talent out there... im thinking i should go and get my #4 SP to polish it up a bit as my bats are full up now (aside from i wanna get somethin to replace sandoval @ the IF slot cuz im not 100% on the kid just yet, and i wanna add some quality backup bats as well)... heres the updated Roster and Up to date as of now available list...

up to date roster:
C- Brian McCann Keeper
1B- Mark Teixeira Keeper
2B- Brian Roberts Keeper
3B- Ryan Zimmerman 5th round pick
SS- JJ Hardy #39 overall pick
IF- Pablo Sandoval Keeper (just placing him here for now)
OF- Ryan Braun Keeper
OF- Nick Markakis #2 overall pick
OF- Hunter Pence #34 overall pick
UTIL- Joe Mauer #10 overall pick (possibly use him for trade bait)
BN-
BN-

SP- Johan Santana Keeper
SP- Cole Hamels Keeper
SP- James Shields #15 overall pick
RP-
RP-
P-
P-
P-
BN-

Available players as of now (again if you could rank a few extra as there are still 4 picks ahead of mine):
Bats:
Vernon Wells
Howie Kendrick
Robinson Cano
Lastings Milledge
Matt Wieters
Edwin Encarnacion
Jhonny Peralta
Torii Hunter
Chris Young
Miguel Tejada
Nelson Cruz
Jayson Werth
Justin Upton
Mike Aviles
James Loney

Arms:
Zack Greinke
Chris Young
Brett Myers
Aaron Harang
Josh Johnson
Derek Lowe
Matt Garza
Clayton Kershaw
John Danks
Scott Baker
Kevin Slowey
Brandon Morrow
Mike Gonzalez
Erik Bedard
Randy Johnson
Ted Lilly
Jered Weaver
Gavin Floyd

i know i should really really go after a SP, but when i was posting this would it be to my advantage to sit on a SP and snag Justin Upton while hes still there? or just go ahead and grab that SP when i get to pick we will be basically in the equivalent of the 13th round of a 12 team draft...i have my 6th and 7th round picks lost my 8th in a trade then have all the rest of the draft picks... what do yall think?

How long do you think Wieters will be available? You're set at C, but he may a special player.

I would wait on pitching. For the INF slot there are still some good players left...Peralta, Encarnacion, Cano, Kendrick. I see the need for more HRs. I would go with Peralta b/c he is in his prime and in the middle of a good Cleveland order. He will outproduce Hardy this year...bet on it. Then that leaves Hardy and Mauer as Trade bait for another OF that u could also play at U. Carl Crawford to give you more SB's possibly???? I would have to say that in Round 7 you could go for Josh Johnson and round 9 Gavin Floyd. Then look at Slowey or Baker. Thanks for your advice on my post. Hope this helped.

Hey man, thanks for the help with my Soriano-CC-Pedroia deal...

I would say Zimmerman is your choice. I like the addition of Dunn, as it gives Zim some much-needed protection. He will continue to develop and I think he is your man. Young is not a bad choice either, but the upside is with Zim.
