The catchers have to be out of the equation for you (weiters, doumit) you have mccann and mauer and if sandoval qualifies

while you have 3 good SPs i think id look there 1st for a 4th one..think id go greinke

dont think id take any other SP in that slot so if hes gone id fill 3B with M Young

and Zim would be my second alternative

thats a good team you are building/have built dont sweat not picking the next round ;-D

Thanks for help on mine-

I would go Zimmerman as the fall off from him is huge to next level of 3B. I also think he will have a huge year. After that I would go Cain then Grienke- both studs in the making. Leave catcher out till end.

Agreed - it's Zim or Young. Personally, I'd go with Young. I think he's going to have a great year and wants to show the Rangers that he's still the man.

You do need a 3rd baseman, but I may wait. For me it would be between Zimmerman or S Baker. I really like Baker this year.

I like talk of Young at 3B, but I also wait. I however like Wainwright/Greinke.

Helping hand for me?

ok since i posted Michael Young was selected, which kind of messed up my pick selection... im kind of shaky taking Greinke with his 7.15 ERA this spring, solid #4? or should i just go with Cain (knowing i won't get the win totals, but will get a very nice K total and a decent ERA and WHIP)? or of course Zimmerman is still on the board along with Vernon Wells or even Carlos Pena?... sorry just alot riding on this pick as i won't pick again for almost 2 full rounds... do i go with a bat or finish out my rotation? if i go with a bat do i go with a consistant but injury prone Wells, or fill a whole at third with Zimmy, not knowing what i will get out of him this season, or go Pena and hope he replicates what he did last year? as soon as i make this pick i will get back and help all of you guys just need a little more opinions...

Hey Mike, I would go with Zimm. Best available and the dropoff is pretty significant after him.

Zimmerman
Cain
Milledge
Peralta, hard to believe he's still there?

I wouldn't take V Wells.

I'm in agreement with Zimmerman as the choice. At this point, it's about scarcity. If you pass on a 3B now, what are you left with later? If you pass on a SP now, what would you be left with later? I think the groupings of players positionally makes Zimmerman the choice.
