What is your current situation with 3B and SP?

I think this trade boils down to whether you have someone who will be strong enough at 3B to start everyday until Arod is back, or if you would be better off with a top tier SP (Do you have an "ace" right now?).

I don't think Cole's recent elbow issue is anything major (at least if you believe Cole or the GM), so I don't think we need to factor that into this discussion much.

Personally, I might take Hamels as long as I have someone to get the job done at 3rd (And assuming I am in need of an ace).

Unless you have a stud waiting to fill in for Arod at 3rd I wouldnt do this trade. Hamels is not 100% and is coming off a 225 inning season. I think Arod's injury might be overexxagerated to take the heat off the steroid issue. Wouldn't be surprised if Arod announces he is way ahead of schedule on his rehab and comes back early and mashes.
