I might have been the last manager to take a pitcher (Nolasco in round 5), so my staff isn't as good as some.
Still got quite a few of "my guys" which was pleasing. (Fukudome/LaRoche/Buck/Danks/Parra/Braden/Qualls)
Cahill was an auto-pick when I was stuffing around with the player list and my computer froze - why the hell he was top of my queue I have no idea. Might as well keep him and see if he makes the rotation straight away .

Meh, I don't find him overrated. last year his pitches were working, his breaking ball broke and his fast ball was speedy, he just had no control. The main thing i looked at this spring are his 2 walks all spring. If he has the control down, with that solid line up behind him he should get double digit wins easily.

I'm not quite that high on Adenhart, but the good thing is he'll start the season in the rotation. With Ervin's elbow trouble (and maybe even Lackey), he'll get more spot starts.

Well we had are draft yesterday, and needless to say my inexperience with an NL only league may have killed me in the draft, and the fact I really wasn't pleased as much with finding I was the #1 pick, I generally like a few picks in between mine.

We had 2 guys auto-draft - Broken Nose and Scubapooz and I only have expectations of beating Nose

Hindsight is 20/20 and I don't really like my team that much and will need to make some moves. my MI is wicked horrible as it seemed like when I was targeting some crappy 2nd basemen when it came to my 12 pick of the round it would get snatched up and then I liked other options over the crappier MIs that were available. So I've got an injured hammy slotted into my MI spot, yikes I missed out on practically all my targets because I really had no sense of where to slot the value when it came to the draft. So unless some miracle happens with my team, I'm expecting a solid bottom half finish, but I'll be trying to salvage as much as I can
