Well, even the mid-draft caliber pitchers hold a ton of value (see that Volquez and Nolasco rank ahead of Howard who is the 2nd-best batter). I can't imagine that point spread tweaking my approach dramatically, but we shall see.

I'm treating this like a Football league. Pitchers are the QB's and Catchers are the Defenses. The QB always lead in scoring and the Defenses always are last but you don';t draft solely based on the point numbers.

lulz. I was hoping for a 5x5 or 6x6. At least the rest of us are all on an even playing field.

The Yahoo guys need all the help they can get, they view Dustin Pedroia as a second round pick, obviously only the clueless could be so dumb.

Intangibles score some serious points in Evans' league. They're not in the point system, but that's the nature of intangibles for you.
I guess I missed the boat. I got the invitation, but when I enter the info/click the link, I get an error. I guess the league filled before I got on the ball. I'm in 2 Points leagues already, so saving myself another headache doesn't sound too bad

I did like the completely out of left fieldness of the settings with 16 teams H2H points.
I'm so bummed that I didn't get either Ishikawa or Daniel Murphy.

I thought h0rtie was gonna be there too. He just missed the boat. Somebody has already offered me 60 cents on the dollar for Reyes and Soriano (the two I got auto-picked for ), and then got angry and quoted stats from 2007 when I told them to get serious
BTW Soriano and Reyes are still on the block.
