Utley had 9 of his 14 SB's from June-Oct. That is the time frame that many feel his hip was bothering him. I would think that he could do at least that on a repaired hip. His HR's suffered more than his base running did because of the bad hip. As someone else said - Utley steals on his baseball knowledge not his speed. Remember Utley was well on his way to an MVP year last season until his hip problem and his great play was not unexpected. He is the real deal.
Everyday the news gets better and better on Utley and he should be moving up the draft board. I expect him to finish in the top 5.
Kinsler over Utley?
