Pujols for Wright

I have been offered albert pujols for my david wright in a rotisserie league. the cats are the normal 5X5 plus OBP. if i make this trade, chipper jones is my only other option to play third, while i have berkman and votto already to cover first. we also have two utility spots. not sure if i should do this. what do you think?

absolutely not... 3B is the SHALLOWEST position.

If chipper is your back up, no way in my books.

Plus you have fat puma and VOTTO, you're solid at first man.... Wright is a 5 cat stud and is going to finish top 5 overall when its said and done, so is pujols (if healthy all year) but he plays first where you're already solid....

hold on wright, and did i just read a post about Pujols having an oblique strain? that might be why you're getting this offer....

I don't like it.

It logjams you at a deep position, and you lose any flexibility. Plus, Chipper is a MASSIVE downgrade from Wright in every cat except MAYBE average.

You shouldn't be trading for Albert Pujols with Berkman and Votto already on your team. If you do make a deal sending Wright, make it for a position of weakness. First base is NOT a weakness on your team. Pass.
