Wondering which pitcher people would prefer for the upcoming season. Redraft league. I'm trying to decide which one I keep if I decide to trade one. Who is the better fantasy player?
Felix Hernandez or Jon Lester?
I play in a ten team H2H, yahoo league. 12 cats: runs, home runs, RBI, avg., hits, OPS... wins, strikeouts, saves, ERA, WHIP, walks.
C: Chris Iannetta 1B: Albert Pujols 2nd: Chase Utley 3rd: Ryan Zimmerman SS: Alexei Ramirez (2nd, OF) OF: Matt Kemp, Jay Bruce, Nelson Cruz Utl: Prince Fielder BN: Derek Jeter, Elijah Dukes
SP: Jake Peavy, Francisco Liriano, Felix Hernandez, Jon Lester, David Price, Randy Johnson, Erik Bedard, Chien-Ming Wang RP: Houston Street, Chad Qualls, Heath Bell
Personally, I still feel like Felix has much upside left to tap in to. Lester might not be able to replicate 2008 even if he is a nice pitcher.
I'd deal Lester myself.
PS: Even in a 10 teamer, that's a great roster. Kudos. 3B is the only marginal need I see, and it's not like yours is bad or anything. Lester and Zim for a 3B?

Thanks. Actually, I have a trade offer pending that I just need to accept. It's my Prince and Lester for his Longoria and Big Papi. Should I do that? It would shore up my 3rd base and I would switch Fielder and Papi in my utl. spot.
I think I do that deal. It would have been better to trade depth for Longoria (meaning anything to keep Fielder over Papi), but I still see that as value.
In a 10 teamer, I'd risk an injury prone UTIL guy; the fall won't be far, and I do think he'll be back strong.
