Hill is a scrub? He had a concussion last year, might want to check his 2007 stats and how many doubles he had? He was due for a big year last year and it didn't happen, he's on my watch list for sure right now.
I like Fontenot too, gotta love the line up and he's tearing up spring training....
And the previous year he only had 6 in basically a full season. I'll put him on the watch list but highly doubt he does anything worth rostering.
He has been gradually progressing.... in 2006 he had ONLY 6 but he hit ONLY 28 doubles as well and notice the .291 average.
2007 he hits 17 Hrs, 47 doubles, 78 rbi's and bats .291 again....
2008 concussion.... some of those 47 doubles which usually are a good indicator of power are going to go over the fence.... he was looking to hit over 20 HR's last year, he just got knocked in the head
Now he's not going to steal you more than probably 5 bases, he hasn't shown any speed, but a full healthy season and some progression 23-90-.290 is easily doable.... and i dont knwo about you but MOST everyone has forgot about this guy, i've got him on my watch list right now, just waiting.... if he's fine and hitting i'm picking him up
and he was born in 1982, so he's you guessed it 27 years old in 4 more days.... hmmmmm, sleeper?
Hopefully that justifys it some more.
