Blockbuster Trade: Do it?

Postby dshmizil1026 » Tue Mar 17, 2009 1:53 pm

i get:
alex rodriguez
joey votto

i trade:
ian kinsler
ryan braun

my current 3b is zimmerman and need more pop because i got furcal and mauer and jay bruce and milledge all possibly in my starting lineup. should i do it? if not, what kind of proposal should i make to the other kid? for JUST kinsler and braun? heres HIS team:
c: russel martin
1b: votto berkman
2b: aviles cano
3b: arod wright
ss: alexei ramirez
OF: bay, upton, abreu, chris young, jayson werth

SP: Billingsley, lester, webb, danks, vazquez, nolasco, shields
RP: Broxton, Nathan

BY THE WAY: ITS A 8 TEAM H2H YAHOO LEAGUE STANDARD SCORING
THIS IS MY TEAM:
c: mauer
1b: prince, dlee
2b: kinsler
3b: zimmerman, glaus
ss: furcal, guzman
OF: milledge, bruce, victorino, soriano, pence
SP: CC, oswalt, edison volquez, garza, saunders, cyoung
RP: lidge, wood

i do have some good outfielders so i could spare braun, and my infield is particularly weak and my pitching is kinda also... COME UP WITH A TRADE THAT INVOLVES ME SENDING THE OTHER TEAM KINSLER AND BRAUN. any possibility will be considered. thanks

that is a terrible offer. youre giving up two top 15 guys for an injured slugger who will be out ~2 months and a mid tier first basemen. :-t

him giving you wright and berkman would be fair, not arod and votto.

ya definitely dont do that trade. Why trade Kinsler when you have no backup option?

Kinslaer and Braun are your BEST 2 players, you need top talent in return if you trade them.

Some combo from Wright, AROD, Nathan, Berkman, Bay,. Upton.

Wright has to be involved, or maybe AROD, Berkman, and Bay/upton/nathan.

dont sell yourself short

Even though A-Rod is A-Rod i have to say dont do it. Braun is a stud and Kinsler had a stud year last year and can repeat. I dont like this trade for you.

Some advice on my topic below regarding keepers would be great.
