I am in a H2H league where holds is a category and have been offered Gil Meche for Putz. My closers aren't great and there are plenty of options for holds with Rafael Perez on the FA list, do I pull the trigger here?

Also do you like any of these guys over the back end of my rotation: Lohse, Wellemeyer, Gallagher, Kawakami, Marcum, Bush, Hansen

I would do that for sure. Meche is highly underrated and better than any of your bench starters you have now. You can always pick up holds, just like saves, as the year goes on. Plus, Putz's velocity has been down in the WBC.

Part 2, I like Wellemeyer better than Garland. Really, I like any of those guys over Garland.

Take that and run. Meche will have a good year and his K totals are underrated. Not a fan of passing up a solid starter for a guy who gets holds
