Matt Holliday seems like fair value. Your pitching staff really needs help, especially with Ervin out to start the season and you can fill in Holliday's vacant spot with Hawpe.

Who's his SS (it's not listed)? From one of your previous threads I know you just traded for Peralta, but you may be able to effectively package him here if it fills a need for this owner.

I'm not sure that Holliday's going to get it done. It looks like he's pretty deep at OF at the moment. (Even if he isn't the most knowledgeable, I think it's likely he'll realize Holliday doesn't really fill a need for him). It's certainly worth a shot, but your chances would likely be better if you tried something else.

I think this is certainly doable, though I might even try to lowball him a little bit more if you think you can pull it off at first, and then go from there based on his reaction

SS missing is what I noticed also. I like the package suggested with Tulo and Ervin.

I also considered using Mauer as bait.

Try Holliday if not then try Tulo and Ervin. If still not see what he wants(as per position player/pitcher) what and then just try and work something out.
