Soria/Ubaldo for Gomez/Sherrill/C. Perez

Postby chargersfan36 » Mon Mar 16, 2009 8:18 pm

I'm in a 12-team 5x5 roto league and this trade was offered to me.

My Soria, U. Jimenez for C. Gomez, G. Sherrill, and Chris Perez.

C - B. Molina
C - Napoli
1b - A. Gonzalez
2b - K. Johnson
3b - A. Ramirez
SS - Lowrie
CI - Glaus
MI - C. Guzman
OF - Hamilton
OF - Beltran
OF - Ludwick
OF - Span
OF - JD Drew
Util - Kotchman
BN - M. Cameron
BN - Lowell
P - Haren
P - Billingsley
P - Harden
P - C. Young
P - Jurrjens
P - U. Jimenez
P - Marmol
P - Soria
P - Devine
BN - K. Escobar

Do you think this trade would help me? I want to at least be competitive in steals and not left in the dust and I think the more closers the better. Can I expect Sherrill and Perez to each save 30 games this season? Also, what's the status of Minnesota's OF?

Thanks. WHIR.

Bad deal. Sherrill is crap, Ray likely to close. perez is iffy, as Tony likes Franklins experience, and Motte is there. I think Jimenez is the 2nd best guy in deal.

You're giving away the two best players, which makes it an automatic no-deal.

Not even close. Soria is a top 5 closer and Ubaldo can be huge this year. The other three are scraps. please reply to this question: viewtopic.php?t=372223
