MIGGY/FUENTES FOR HOLLIDAY/WAINWRIGHT WHIR!

Postby tribefan08 » Mon Mar 16, 2009 7:38 pm

HEY i am thinking of proposing this.... fair deal? who wins?

I am on the receiving end of miggy and fuentes, i'd like another solid closer, kinda missed that run in the draft, and i dont have a real big dog for RBI's and HR's. Losing Holliday would put me at a loss in the SB's, but then again is he going to steal 28 in oakland? I dont think so? if the guy will go for this do you think its a good deal????

oh ya 12 team H2H with a 32 inning min on pitching per week.... my SP statff would then be shields and beckett, wang, and jrrjens.... i think this would help me in saves, overall ptiching averages, and boost my RBI's and HR"s tremendously, but is it too much? Its kind of betting on the Holliday experiment?!

Thats a steal. Holliday's production could very well decline in Oakland, and you're getting a legit top 5 bat in return.

If he will go for it then I would definitely make this deal if I was you. Miggy is going to be the man this season and I am really down on Holliday at the moment.

If i were you I would definitely try this. I don't know if he will accept unless he is really thin at OF though.

The IP might make him pause, and some think Arredondo will take over this year (I don't).

I like Wainwright, and so I would think this is fine as an offer. Tread carefully though, asking for a first rounder this early. Do this very politely.

Yah i buttered up the offer message saying how holliday is giving him SB's and was ranked #9 overall last year and miggy was only #20 whatever and he has like 9 First basemen, so i played that up, this guy played with us like 5 years ago, i dont know how much he's followed since we've not played.... but the 3B eligibility is HUGE with no arod for a while, id' have wright and miggy if i can pull this... the guy has NO starting pitching either, he drafted sheets? LOL so i dont know if he even knows wainwright, i'm kinda dealing with alot of unknowns?

his OF is stacked plus we have 3 utl spots, so there's lots of room to put guys, but i like this deal i think i am going to offer it up and see wht happens, maybe even a counter for something with holliday and miggy might happen and thats what its all about anyways..... thanks guys
