Pfah. I never said he wouldn't hit dingers. I said he wouldn't hit for average.
If you want to do a Cafe bet on an over/under of his AVG at .265, I'll bet you. Loser sports the sig line of the winner's choice next April.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

Done. I agree. Few things need to be clarified:
1) How long does the sig line have to stay up? I already feel bad for you.
2) .265 would be a push with no winner, correct?

The month of April.
We'll call .265 a push.

Does a .265 average really hurt your team in fantasy baseball? .250, yeah that would suck, but .265 doesn't seem so awful to me. Certainly not bad enough to altogether avoid in the draft.

We use BA and OBP in a 6x6. I think I still bid up to $9 or so for Davis, but that was more to prevent him from going too cheaply rather than really wanting him. I did my own auction valuations with two different sets of projections (one was J35J's) and also used lastplayerpicked.com and under our settings, in a 12-team mixed league, I came up with Davis being worth either $2.12, $1.90, or $4. And I'm not so sure that he can actually get the numbers that are projected (J35J's spreadsheet has him hitting .275) given his K-rate.
So, at least in my league, yah, it is that big of a deal. Helton projected out as more valuable.
