I suppose most like Soriano better but by how much? In my league a guy took Soriano about 3 spots before I took Lee but I have Lee ranked higher than most people I think. Both of them had injury shortened seasons last year and both had monster seasons if you project their numbers out for 600 or so AB. I am thinking of trading up to Soriano but not sure it is even much of an upgrade. I need some steals though so that would be the reason for the move. Is a straight up deal out of the question?
I like Soriano slightly better and no a straight up deal is not out of the question. Depends on how much the other guy values Soriano. Try it, you never know although the guy did draft Soriano ahead of you so he probably won't trade him for Lee straight up.
I like Soriano's 20 stolen bases over Lee, otherwise the players are about equal (with Lee having a better average). You could try a straight up deal or sweeten the pot a bit (but not too much).
though I did just draft Lee and, so I am probably a bit biased on the situation, here's my imput..
Soriano is an injury risk.. Lee is one of the most dependable players in baseball.. (I know he was hurt last year, but that was a freak ball to the pinky, can't be counted in injury preneness (made up word)) outside of that Lee is a 150+ game a year monster. and on top of that you can pretty much count on .300, 30hr, 110 HR minimum. the guy is a machine..
keep El Caballo and enjoy productive game after productive game..

I doubt that most people would trade Soriano for Lee straight up. I have them projected as pretty even though. I won't be going out of my way for Soriano this year.
First, both were injured last year, but Carlos Lee was a freak HBP on the pinkie, while Sorianos injuries the last two years have been more of the kind that would have you worried about his durability.
Second Carlos Lee was beasting it last year, the guy put up 28 Hr's and 100 RBI's and missed the last 40 games.
Soriano will give you more SB's, but Lee will give you consistent AVG, HR, RBI's and less headahces. I have Soriano and Lee about even, and depending on the situation might even go with Lee over Soriano.
