Postby theplayer11 » Mon Mar 16, 2009 8:08 am

I waited until the 6th round to draft pitchers. This is what I ended up with, Roto We start 6 SPs. Pitchers flew off the board more than expected.

Billingsley(6th round)
Shields(7th)
Greinke(11th)
Danks(14th)
Young(16th)
Baker(17th)
Gig Unit(18th)
Wandy Rod(22nd)
Smoltz(23rd)
Volstad(24th)

Agreed, as long as its a 12 team league. That unit is solid.

You're fine. I'm not read to call Bills an ace as of yet but he's certainly on the verge. He, Shields and Greinke anchor your staff nicely and your depth is good.

I like the staff also for a 12 teamer. Volstad will surprise and when Smoltz comes back you will have another quality pitcher...if he can stay healthy.
