How about Alfonseca, Williamson or Baez?

Postby jmc_47 » Wed Mar 05, 2003 7:39 am

Thanks for the last bit of help. Now, to round out my staff I need one more closer. Available are:

Antonio Alfonseca, Scott Williamson and Danny Baez.

I am leaning towards Williamson. Any thoughts?

Of the 3, take Williamson. he;s the most sure of the 3. Alfonseca, if healthy isn't that bad- ONLY in a fanatsy sesnse. He could actually get 30 saves (HEY - stranger things have happened!!!) That said, I'm not wanting to make that gamble - but I did get Jose Jimenez and Torii Hunter in the 24th and 25th rounds of my draft last year!!

Take Williamson, with Baez close. Baez is the feel good closer story of this year.

Definitely Williamson. DieHard, you must have had your heart ripped out often last year when Alfonseca was on the mound!
