1. FA's of interest: Quantrill, Valverde, Beck, Hampton, Weaver. Need a holds guy I think, though as I understand it holds are easy to get out of FA during the season. What do you make of my pitching?

2. Never played with walks as a hitting cat. Any guys you'd suggest adding/dropping/trading for?
I'm not too worried, just curious

I'd pick up Quantrill and Hampton.

Put Hampton in the rotation for Marte and replace Baez with Quantrill, he'll get a bunch with that Yankees team.

Your walks should be fine. The big hurt generally gets 100 walks in a good year. Basically look for guys with high OBP, IE. Bonds, Giles, Sexy. All these guys are as they say, "patient at the plate."

Thanks, bro. Who should I drop for those 2 do you think? Hate to drop any of these guys but I suppose I'd lean towards Redman and Floyd. Maybe I'll try to trade one of them first...

Definetely try trading for an upgrade first. Most likely, an upgrade of maddux and clemens would be in order...

Try to upgrade your Closer use Baez and Redman (or B Myers) for some one like Izzy, Rhodes, Nathan, Borwski.

Pick Quantrill or Valverde and drop Floyd for Hampton.
