We are entering our 16th year. Some guys have come and gone, but we've got a core of 8 or 9 guys that have been with us for 10 years or so and 4 or 5 of us that have been together since the beginning. Most of us have known each other since high school and are now entering our 40's. We were as high as 14 teams and as low as 10. We're at 11 this year.
I only do this one league. I never understood the interest in joining multiple leagues or leagues with people you don't know. I've been frustrated every time I've tried. It's just not the same.
i have 2 main leagues. the one has been around for 16 years i guess but i have only been in it for 4 years. the other has been around for 5 years with very little turnover. 18 teams in each league.
Baseball, I just have the Cafe leagues. One we're going into our second year, the other our third. Dynasty leagues. Hope to keep them going for a long time. I've been in a football league with buddies from high school for something like 8 years.
i have been playing in an NL only league since '92 but it has been around since 1984..we still honor the original waggoner/okrent rotisserie league by having a yoohoo shower each year for the champions (we added Moxie to give it a state of Maine flavor)
I play in one H2H, with guys I personally know, entering its eighth season ... it's bounced between 14-16 teams, with 12 original owners still present. Other league is a Cafe roto, with guys I virtually know, starting year three ... or year 3 1/2 if I count a previous roto season with some of the same owners.
With the quality of these leagues and the mix of Roto and H2H, I find that two leagues is plenty to keep me occupied through the season.
Longest running is from 2002 with my buddies, both baseball and football. Several people dropped/kicked out and others added, but there's a core of about 5-7 who have been in for quite a while now.

Since 2004 I've done a fantasy baseball and fantasy football league with some buddies from high school. I always get draft happy and join a bunch of leagues around this time of year, but year in and year out, I end up only really caring about the leagues I do with people I know well.
Not only is it a great way to keep in touch with old friends, fantasy leagues in general just mean so much more when you know the people behind the teams. I honestly could see myself getting out of fantasy sports for the most part if that league falls apart. But we recently started to put a small amount of money in to make things a bit more interesting. I really hope it stays together for a long, long time.
