The guy on this list who is an absolute must have is Dukes. The guy is a huge sleeper with 30-30 potential. Health staying out of trouble the roadblocks.

Dukes will bat 6th most likely. Could move up or down one spot. K's too much to bat in the 1-4 holes.

I think the other guy you want to own is Cuddyer. I don't think its between him and Young. I think Span and Gomez will battle with Young. Cuddyer will bat in the 5 hole.

I also like Dickerson, but he'll probably only play against RHP, which he hits well. Not a bad pickup late. Dickerson will probably bat 7 or 8 because of this high K rate, but 30 SB likely.

Delmon Young
Elijah Dukes

These are the only 2 I'd consider. Dukes 1st, Delmon 2nd (but Delmon 1st if he was guarenteed a job).

Cuddyer can DH

I can't imagine the Nats would bench Dukes for Kearns. Dukes is worth drafting in the middle rounds of a draft, and D. Young is worth a late round selection.

In very deep or AL only leagues I would look at Lowrie.

I put Dukes first, then Young.

I would bump Lowrie up to a late round flier in mixed leagues: the guy can hit, and a few weeks before the FA finds start emerging is worth it to get a look to see if he's a Pedroia without the steals. SS is shallow after all.

I'm not as high on Dukes as others, but there is legit potential there. I'd rather stake a claim on Lowrie who could put up handy numbers at the SS slot for the price of a FA or $1. OFs seem to emerge more frequently so using a roster spot on Lowrie is worth more to me personally.

Whats your roster look like?

Dukes should be rostered. He will have an opp to seriously drive in runs. Adam Dunn will be on base a lot ahead of him etc. Washington did get adding some offense to their lineup. Milledge will be solid also and as zimm should put up nice numbers with some decent guys hitting around him. I could see Dunn playing in the OF with Dukes and Milledge so that NIck Johnson (remember him) will get a full season of at bats. He's a good hitter as well if he can avoid the injury bug that has cost him a lot fo time.
