Obviously Rollins is better but what about when you compare the picks to get them.
Rollins at the 12th pick vs Drew at the 60th ?

I'm pretty high on Drew...but I'm not pick 60 high....he's been going a bit early for my taste...If that's the choice at Short Stop, I'd take Rollins right after the turn and then delete my Short Stop Tier Column.
Why don't they just get a house that's already painted?

Honestly, Rollins is solid there, but Drew is even better if it means less holes on your team.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!

With Rollins you have a very good idea what kind of production you're getting, whereas Drew is more of a mystery so there's more risk involved. Personally I'd rather take Rollins at #12 than Drew at #60 and not have to worry about it. If you could get Drew down closer to #75 or 80 then it would be a tougher call, but even then I'd still prefer going with the sure thing in Rollins.

I like your logic, but the fear is that you'd miss on Drew later. The downside is the reaching for Drew at 60. Rollins is the entire second tier for SS, and if you miss on him and count on Drew, what if someone snags Drew before you can? What if you go too high for Drew? Then, you're waiting for Tulo in the 90-110 range, or leaving with a low end option.
Rollins is still showing improvements in his game, and you can certainly win taking him at 12.
