Keeper Draft question WHIR

Postby kb161606 » Sat Mar 14, 2009 2:14 pm

Ok so I joined my first keeper league, and took over a team that was vacated. The team sucked and finished in last place. So i will be getting the first overall pick in the next draft.
We had to keep 4 players, at least 1 being a pitcher. I kept:
Morneau
BJ Upton
Carlos Lee
Harden (i told you his team sucked)

The draft is a bit interesting. There are some good players that weren't kept, and I get my pick. Here are a few of the players that are available:
Sizemore
Manny
Pedroia
Ludwick
Bay
Haren
Francisco
Billinsley
Rivera

Scoring is standard 5x5 with the addition of TB, E, OPS, WP, Holds, K/9

Do I take Sizemore and his multi category stats? Manny despite his attitude issues? Pedroia because I already have 2 OF and I lack quality BA's? Haren because my best starter is Harden? Can Ludwick keep up what he did last year?

Take Sizemore no brainer. Mid first round pick in every format. 40-40 not just talk with this guy.

Unbelivable someone dropped him.

Thank you. Originally it was obvious to me to pick Sizemore, but the few days before the draft gave me too much time to think, and obviously to over think.

sizemore, no question.

i'd try to gain yourself a 2b in the next round. liriano would be a good ace for you in the next round unless some craziness happens.

Sizemore is the best option, then Manny.
