Keepers Time

Postby Swipe79 » Fri Mar 13, 2009 10:27 pm

My league is a keeper league in it's 19th season, we can keep up to 10 players each year (you keep fewer, you draft earlier). There are 12 teams and the rosters are - 2 C, 2 1B, 2 2B, 2 3B, 2 SS, 5 OF, and 10 P. We are a standard 5X5 Roto League (Avg, HR, RBI, R, SB and W, S, ERA, WHIP, K). This isn't my entire roster, but I have whittled it down to these few;

1B - Ryan Howard
2B - Robinson Cano
SS - Derek Jeter
SS - Michael Young
3B - Kevin Kouzmanoff
OF - Curtis Granderson
OF - Carl Crawford
OF - Shane Victorino
OF - Hunter Pence
P - AJ Burnett
P - Joba Chamberlain
P - Roy Halladay
P - Roy Oswalt
P - Mariano Rivera

I have also though about not keeping 10 to get an earlier pick this year, any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any help!

I wouldn't have a problem with throwing back the aging Jeter and Rivera, or Joba because we don't know what role he will have for an earlier draft position.
