Myers @$10 or Carpenter @$8?

I need to sign a final player for 2 yrs

My best options are Myers ($10 in 09, $15 in '10) or Carpenter ($8 in 09, $13 in '10). I know neither are ideal, but who is the lesser of two evils?

I had chosen Myers, but a friend thinks I'm nuts and should go Carpenter. I think he's nuts. Who's right?

He is nuts. Myers all the way. I am not convinced Carpenter will remain healthy. Myers was suppose to be this teams ace 1-2 years ago. He may bounce back and be a good number 2.

ding ding ding, winner winner chicken and mashed potato dinner!... Carp is just way to far gone with the injuries... yes myers hasn't been stud material, but at least hes still producing somewhat unlike carp, and is on a damn good squad still...
