I have always done yahoo H2H 5x5 and loaded on hitting and got pitching late (like having 6 of my first 7 players be hitters maybe even all 7) and have always had a top 3 or 4 team every year. This year I am starting a 12 person 3 year keeper followed by a redraft to move players around.
In a points league do you value pitching more less or the same?
In a 3 year keeper since its so short do you draft young?
If you have seen CBS top 300 list would the top 15 change at all due to the 3 year keeper?
This is the scoring system
Hitters: 1 point for RBI/R/Walk/Single/HBP 2 points for Steal/Double 3 points for Triple 4 points for HR -.5 points for a K
Pitchers: 1 point for a K 3 points for an inning 5 points for a save/ shut out bonus 7 points for a win -1 point for hit/walk -2 for a ER/blown save -5 for a loss
Any other drafting advice with this set up?
Thanks for readin all this and any answer appreciated

cant answer on the keeper aspects of your question, but i made a spreadsheet handwritten of some players for my cbs h2h league, then i found in their rankings on the cbs site, they have a way to categorize them according to draft order, estimated roto points and h2h points. my calculations weren't exactly the same as theirs for h2h, but were close. just take a look at the list they have. i forget what link it is but play around with it. i think its under rankings or avg draft position on cbs's site. it will tell you the estimated points and several pitchers are near the top. its' different for me too taking pitchers so soon, but apparently they are up there in points, speed guys are more valuable too.
good luck.
