We are in a 10 team, 5x5 roto league, where we get to keep 12 players and we have a Minor league team that you don’t have to protect until they reach 30 games for a hitter or 30 innings played for a Pitcher, and get to keep them the following year without using a Keeper slot on them
I would be giving up Hamilton and Wieters for Cabrera and Price, should I pull the trigger? I Also forgot to mention that both Price and Wieters will be able to be kept Next year without using a keeper slot on them.

I like Miggy more than Hamilton, and he fills that gap you've got at 1B sweetly. The rest of your OF can afford the loss of Hamilton. Tough to give up the best catching prospect in baseball, but you get the best pitching prospect in return! Looks like a really good deal for your team
id do this deal in a heartbeat... your OF can withstand the blast of losing Hamilton, and you fill a void in the IF with a huge bat, and im not as high on Weiter as most so i love swaping Price for him, although you have some other stud arms in the minors already you will have a nice young crop when they make it to the bigs... nice trade for you!...
Your pitching looks good and would of course only get better. Who are your current Catchers.
Catchers like Weiters don't come along that often. I am always hestitent to go for a pitcher for a player position. Price will be good...no doubt, but Hamilton and Cabrera will have similar stats with Josh having the better of the two. So to me, it is really Price or Weiters and I will select a catcher anytime over a pitcher when they are both considered future all stars for LONG time to come.
Thanks for the advice guys, one of the things that holding me back from accepting this deal is the fact that I’m going to have Schzner and Price only throwing around 150ip each and then there is the talk that Porcello is going to be called up this year and I’ll end up with a pitching staff that is mostly rookies/2nd year players.
I think I would make the deal, but that decision comes because I prefer Cabrera over Hamilton by a LOT.
I love the talent with Hamilton, but I am very hesitant to believe that he is really a top 10-12 guy from a fantasy perspective because of injury concerns, baggage, etc. I think Miggy is a lock to continue to put up great numbers...this is an easy choice for me.
If you think those two are close, though, I'd keep what you have. I prefer Wieters to Price, although that too is pretty close.
