I did my first auction last year and now this is the first year to decide on keepers. I traded for Braun and have to decide on how long to extend him:

$20 each year for the next three years OR $25 each year for the next four years

My co-manager thinks that $20 for 3 is better since he's an even better value, but I'm of the mindset to lock him up on the cheap for the extra year...thoughts?

Either way you go I think it is ok....I would tend to agree with your co-manager as when you get to the deadline in the 3rd season you'll be able to trade him for a lot of value.
