Hey everyone. brand new to the site-2 weeks to the draft and have some openings left for a $150 yahoo keeper league. draft is March 29th at 11:00 am EST live online.
10-12 teams-hopefully 12.
first year of a pyramid keeper league. what is a pyramid keeper league?
its like this-year 1 we have a live snake draft with random draft order.
top 3 teams win cash prizes each year
points are given out to order of final placement...12 pts for 1st place, 1 pt for last place (in a 12 team league)
year 2-you keep 5 players and draft in reverse order of how you finished the previous season in a NON-snake draft.
you earn more points based on placement of that year.
year 3-keep 3 players and draft in revers order of how you finished the previous season in a NON-snake draft.
earn points based on placement of year 3...all points of placement are then tallied after year 3.
year 4-all players are thrown back in the free agent pool with a new SNAKE draft in the order of total points earned in the 3 years prior. whomever had the most total points drafts FIRST in the new draft.
this system assures that all participents stay active throughout the season. finishing 12th and finishing 8th will have a significance in years to come so its important to stay active and continue to try and improve your team even if you seem out of the running that year.
this IS a long term league and is for competitive players and players who will be active and committed.
