Hey Guys -- the deal below changed ... This is the new deal on the table: I give Javier Vazquez and Alfonso Soriano, I get CC Sabathia and Hunter Pence... thoughts? THIS WAS THE OLD DEAL -- IGNORE... DO I deal Vazquez and Scherzer for Sabathia and Fred Lewis? This is 12 team H2H ... trying to improve my SP -- does giving up Scherzer hurt it or is getting CC a greater gain? I like Lewis' speed and triples... WHIR

Is this a dynasty league?
Other than triples, what type of scoring?
On the face of it, no, I wouldn't do it assuming it is a keeper or dynasty league.
lil help?

It is keeper, but only 6 keepers, and they go back into the draft after 2010. Is there a better package to get CC that you can think of?

So, do you ONLY keep 6 of the players you list on your roster, or, have you already declared keepers and drafted for this coming year?
If so, in a 12 team league, your pitching is the least of your worries... except for RP. Why are you intent on getting CC?
And Fred Lewis doesn't excite me much than other a spot starter on your team?
You might try a 2 for 1 Vasquez and Lilly for CC if you must?
lil help?

This is year two of the keeper league: I have the following 6 guys under contract thru 2010: Pujols, Rollins, Cabrera, Soriano, Sizemore, and Peavy. I can always let one go after this year and adopt a new keeper who i will have under contract thru 2012, but can't gaurantee i will. our stat cats: R, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, AVG -- IP, W, L, CG, ER, ERA, SV, K, WHIP So I was just trying to establish my top 3 SPs as dominantly as I can ... Note: I do have a potential deal on the table to move K-Rod for Granderson, which negates the need for Lewis. Instead of Lewis, I could ask for Slowey, Garza, Kershaw, or Chris Perez to go alongside CC. WOuld any pairing make sense if I offered him Vazquez and Scherzer? Note, I don't need to offer Scherzer ... I could try someone else. But with his upside, it is less vetoable...

That trade is a steal for you. C Wieters 1B Pujols 2B Iwamura SS Rollins 3B Cabrera OF Soriano OF Sizemore OF T.Hunter UT Damon, Lowell, Kubel B Griffey, B.Jacobs, E.Andrus, Lewis SP Peavy, Billingsley, CC Sabathia, B.Myers, T.Lilly, Buerhle (this rotation is untouchable) RP K-Rod,Broxton,M.Gonzalez You don't need Grandy your team is fine the way it is. Lewis might not keep his job but you have a slot to get rid of him if he doesn't pan out.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
