Which of these 3 SPs should have the best numbers for '09?
Regardless of league format but I want to keep one of these 3 but have pros & cons for each, and interested to hear people's feedback.
Dice-K - plays on a good team, should get run support but feel his luck must run out and too many free passes'
K Slowey - his luck should get better, good ratio, decent strikeouts
D. Price - great prospect, but will he even start and how many innings in '09?
Thanks

I need to see the rest of your SP potential keepers in order to make this decision.
First, I'd try and trade Dice and then I would keep Price, but ONLY if you are keeping some better SPs for this year. You might find that Slowey is there when your next pick in the draft comes around?
lil help?

I think Dice K is overated, and plays on a GREAT team, makes him a worthy keep, for the precious wins. I really like Slowey, BUT Price stands out here assuming you are patient, as he might not be up tell May/June with the big club.

I take your point about Slowey probably being there in the draft. So it probably is between Price and Dice-K. I just have a feeling that Dice-K will blow up this year. I can see him reverting to 14-12 with an era of 4.00+ rather than 18-3 again.
This would be my for my 4th SP so I do have some saftey above this pick.
