Agreed. Probably need more information since you're even considering it but Hamels for sure in a standard setup.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
300 dollar auction league, keepers, where the dollar value increase 5 bucks each year. 5x5 with Innings pitched instead of Ks, and the usual suspects for the other categories.
Hart would be 11, 16, 21 and Hamels would 11, 16, 21 over the next 3 years. I already have Matt Kemp, Victorino and Alexei Ramirez, as well as J. Johnson for 1, Kershaw for 8, and J Jurgens for 9. Trying to get an ace who will pitch over 200 innings, and Hamels should do that.
Yes Hamels is a great value so unless you have some whacky scoring, I'd be all over that.

I don't like it either, but this league has been around for like 15 years, and I just joined 3 years ago. They just banned SP being eligible as RP, which in essence gave you an extra starter. Average SP were very valuable because of it, which I didn't like.
It also makes it difficult to rank the pitchers, as most rankings place a high value on Ks, and they are meaningless to me.
