I'm in a 12 team head-to-head keeper league and can keep up to 3 players for a total value of $30. The less i spend, the higher draft position i'm given.
Here are the peeps i'd consider "keepable".
1) D Wright-$25 2) Brandon Phillips- $10 3) Bobby Abreu-$5 4) Zach Greinke-$2 5)Carlos Quentin-$2 6) Tim Lincecum- $2 7)Matt Cain- $2 8) Evan Longoria- $2
i'm struggling as to whether to keep Wright, Lincecum and Quentin at $29 and probably having a pick in the 8-12 range or Longoria, Lincecum and Quentin at $6 and probably having a top 6 pick.
just not sure if the gulf between wright and longoria is great enough to keep david and have a later pick or if i should keep longoria and potentially get a top pick

totally agree with this... sucks i was gonna say Wright, Longoria and Linc, but that leaves you with only $1 left which will almost assure the last to later round pick... its up to you i think i would take the chance and snag 2 outstanding 3B in wright and longoria (at one of the slimmer positions out there) with a stud ace and then just worry about running your draft afterwards...
Just be but I'd easily take Wright, Longoria and Lincecum here. OF is a heck of a lot deeper this year and 3B is very shallow. By taking two of the top 5 3B in fantasy you throw off the balance and hurt the rest of your leaguemates. Especially since A-Rod is going to miss some time and Aramis is seemingly on the decline.
