#7 pick...Rollins?

Postby SOUTHSIDE HITMEN » Wed Mar 11, 2009 7:21 pm

12 team points league. I see the draft going as follows, Hanley, Pujols, Wright, Reyes and then comes the tricky part. DO I take a 1st or OF when they are pojected for less points than Rollins? I could get an good OF or 1st with later picks but I see SS with a big drop off after Hanley, Reyes and Rollins. What do you guys think?

Do you know what the baselines are in your league? Just on hunch I'd say that if Rollins is worth that much in your league then he'd be the right choice there.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Rollins probably wont make it back to you in the 2nd. That is a tough call....I would be tempted to take Rollins there...But i would also be tempted to take Kinsler.....I have Kinsler rated higher on my board..But depending on your league setup..If Rollins is in the same ballpark with the players you listed, you probably should take him @7 given the positional scarcity.....Take him and enjoy 20+ HR and 40+ SBs 110+ Runs

It's a basic scoring league with a couple of minimal twists. I could also take a P like CC or Santana with 600 projected points. I would rather not take a P.
