If you're looking at the cbs lineup projections, they are obviously not up to date.
But I don't think they are entirely inaccurate either.

Delmon isn't guaranteed a starting OF spot.
Chris Davis could still be protected early in the season as he's so young.
I can't comment whether Nelson Cruz will be a cleanup hitter. Same for Branyan.
In a normal lineup Griffey deserves to bat 7th, but looking at the Mariners lineup, 4th-9th is awfully weak.

Chris Davis will likely batting 5th or 6th for the Rangers. (I can't imagine a situation where David Murphy would be batting ahead of him.)

Carlos Gomez may end up bumped off the leadoff spot due to the low OBP.

Delmon Young isn't guarenteed a starting spot but I'd be surprised if he isn't playing regularly.

Mark Reynolds is probably slated for 5th or 6th depending on where guys like Chris Young & Stephen Drew are in the lineup and matchups.

Most people/sites are assuming/projecting Andre Ethier will be batting 3rd (directly in front of Manny).
