Heres the deal. I have the # 1 pick in this years draft. Through a couple of great trades I aquired the # 3 and the # 6 picks as well.
This years draft is pretty loaded. Why am I stumped? Well here is a list of the top 12 players avalible. And here are my keepers We keep 9 Draft 16. 5x5
I want to take Pujols with # 1 and I want to get Reyes with # 3 But I'm affraid the owner of the # 2 pick is going to take Reyes. Seeing my team do you think I should pass on Pujols and take Reyes at # 1 and Utley # 3 ? I love Pujols but getting both Utley and Reyes would be huge for me in the middle.I have some pretty nice power but no speed. I could then probably get either Berkman or Fielder with my # 6 pick.I doubt Rollins is there at # 6 . I could also still take Pujols at # 1 and maybe Sizemore or Rollins at # 3. I might even be able to make a side deal with the owner of the # 2 pick. I could ask him for a swap of picks for next year. Next years draft is nearly a big as this year. Thoughts on what I should do. PLEASE!!!!
Somehow the names all meshed together. My team is on the right side. Sorry I don't know how to fix this.
Pujols D . Wright
Sizemore J. Bay
Reyes J. Bruce
Howard Tulowitzki
Rollins M. Cabrera
Beltran Price
Utley Shields
Berkman Verlander
Fielder Soria
Morneau
Holliday
Soriano

you got a lot of great options here
i think you're going to dominate regardless of what you do
my gut says trade away tulo for something now
take reyes #1 cause you already have cabrera at 1st base
and then take sizemore #2
pujols and rollins should go before utley so you still may get utley at #6
worst case, you end up with rollins, beltran or berkman
imagine trading rollins after that even you get 2 SS!
please help me

I can't trade Tulo. Our rosters are frozen.
Pujols will go to the owner of the second pick. He wanted him before but we couldn't work out a trade .The other thing is the owner of the # 5 pick doesn't have a second baseman. He could take Utley .

I think you take pujois, sizemore and which ever player is left at 6,1 of rollins, utley, howard. It looks like your league is good with trades so take the best value. Because you know the 2 guy wants pujois you can always flop those picks later if your draft doesn't go the way you wanted. Plus , he may take sizemore and then you land both your guys. I think sizemore is the guy you should want at 3, tulo will be a stud. I wish I had your problem's--good luck!

He can't take Pujols and Howard. He's already got Cabrera and noone needs 3 1st baseman. Take Reyes 1st and Utley 3rd. You then have Cabrera, Utley, Reyes, & Wright. From there take the best available outfielder and run home with the ttle. Sick team.

He can and should take Pujois and Howard if that is the way it falls. He already stated The 2 guy wants pujois, so draft him, then reyes /sizemore at 3. Which ever guy falls to 6 you take. It may or may not be Howard at 6,if it is take him, trade pujois for Reyes and next yrs 4th rnd pick- or something like that. Take advantage of the best players you can get. If you don't get a ss you still have tulo. If you have all those draft picks it means your league is trade friendly so you can move 1 of the 3 first baseman!

It is possible for me to have three first basemen. We have three DH's One can be a middle and an outfielder. another can be a corner and a catcher. an the third can be any posisition. Plus we have a first baseman.I think Howard will go before my 6th pick. We field 15 posisition players and 10 pitchers. I also failed to tell you Brian Roberts, Ichiro, Vernon Wells and Mauer are also availble. I thought I could get either Roberts or Wells with my 14th pick overall.
And NO our league is NOT trade friendly. I got lucky.I made these trades right after the seaon ended. My league mates fall in love with their players and they hiberante all winter. Thats fine but I'm very active.
