What do you think.......last year's stud or is production going to slide this year?

I think his numbers will definitely regress. 2008: 92Runs 29HRs 95RBIs .277AVG This year, I'm thinking something along the lines of: 2009: 70Runs 22HRs 77RBIs .281AVG
Props to

same here, though I think his rbi's and runs will be a little higher, with a slightly lower BA.

PS: I think he gets traded.

If so, do you have an idea to whom?
+ or - for projections?

Putting a gun to my head I'll say San Fran as I think they're going to be better than people think but that might effect his numbers. The Orioles may also be a player since they have no real 3B prospect behind 37 year old Mora. I'll say 24HR, 88 RBI, .285 Avg, 72 R, 3 SBs.

I could see him repeating last years numbers. In his last full season, 2005 for the Rays no less, he had 28HR 117RBI and .286AVG.

I have faith in Cantu also and think he's an absolute steal going 4 or 5 rounds after Garret Atkins.

I think people forget how bad he was the last few years. There is a chance that he can repeat 08 but I would certainly not pay for him to find out this year.

i think his last year's numbers are the ceiling. Even if he is in his Age 27 year. I can see the National League catching on to the fact that he swings at anything... his strikeouts go up and all of his other stats go down.
