Although I know he is pitching against some weaker teams in the WBC, but I hope against all odds that the Mets some how find a way to make him the 5th starter. I can't imagine him being that expensive, and I'm willing to bet that whatever you get out of Pedro will be better than what anyone else is offering.

I agree. Niese probably isn't ready, Redding/Livan/Garcia have not stepped up. There is no gurantee that Johan/Pelfrey/Maine/Perez make all their starts. We need all the quality starts/starters we can get and I think Pedro definitely can contribute.
