Would anyone consider picking him over Rafael Furcal or Orlando Cabrera? Let's try to put things in perspective here.

NO WAY would I take him in front of Cabrera or Furcal. It's within the realm of possibility that he could outperform Furcal but he won't outperfrom Cabrera.

And I see no reason to take him earlier than those guys because he'll should be on the board for longer.

He's got a shot at equalling Furcal and Cabrerra. Heck, Furcal really didn't establish himself until last year. Reyes seemed to just be hitting his stride when he hurt his ankle last fall. He's got a bright future, no doubt.

1st or 2nd rd next yr is too high. He doesn't have Soriano's power and won't have it. He's a real nice player and could be looking at 4th or 5th rd next yr
