I got stuck with Jose Reyes at SS. Is this guy going to get PT? What should I expect out of him? Should I rush to pick up another SS?
Here is my team:
12 team H2H 6x6 league (OPS & L)
C Posada
1B Bagwell
2B Castillo
SS J. Reyes
3B Chavez
OF Beltran
OF Matsui
OF Gonzalez, Juan
UTil Edgar
B L. Walker
B Austin Kearns
B Alex Sanchez
SP Prior
SP Beckett
RP Rhodes
B Isringhausen
P M. Morris
B E. Milton
B Carlos Zambrano
B Tony Armas
Don't have my projections handy, but I don't think you need to worry. Much less of a risk than Juan Gon and 'Gar, but I guess you have Kearns and Walker to back them up...
What round did you get Reyes in?
You only start 4 pitchers?
How funny... what a great position to be in.. To get stuck with a top 10 SS right now..and after this season..Don't be surprised to see him be a late 1st round pick, or 2nd round pick..in next years drafts!
He is beyond special.. Think Soriano with less power, but better average
1st or 2nd round pick next year? C'mon. He'll be good, but tht is going a littel far. Just a note, Reyes was batting .269 before he got called up last year. That is nothing to get excited about
His biggest value will be his SB till he develops a little more power, and its really up to him and the Skipper as to how much he is going to be running. He is faaast

Go look at Soriano's numbers before he made his splash with the Yankees... They aren't even as good as Reyes..
Just my opinion, and if anyone would have made this prediction in regard to Soriano prior to 2001 season (that in 2002 he would be a late 1st rounder, or 2nd rounder)..this same thing would have been said.. Are you crazy? and look what happened.. Jose Reyes has more potential than Soriano did (comming into the 2001 season).. Just something to remember.. and it's just my opinion..(which isn't worth anything)
point is... No one gets stuck with a Jose Reyes.. You should be estatic!
Also, don't forget that by mid-April, Reyes will also be 2B eligible!!
