Fielder and Ellsbury for Braun

Postby sreill » Tue Mar 10, 2009 7:26 pm

12 team h2h.

I currently have 3 first basemen (Berk, Fielder and Delgado)

There is a possible offer where I can get Braun for Fielder and Ellsbury. No brainer for me?

seeing as you have those other 1B, and im assuming you can only play 2 of them at a time, then yeah i do this without hesitation

Sure, you upgrade Ellsbury with Braun, you get around = to Fielder and if Delgado (big if) heats up, then you switch him around.

I'd do it.

It's good from your perspective, but even better from the other teams...guessing they are in NEED of a 1B. I'd do it, but I think you could squeeze some more out of it for you, like a draft pick if possible or a pitcher if you need one.

I'd rather have Fielder, Berkman and Elsbury than Braun, Berkman and Delgado.

I would probably make the deal myself, seeing that you still have Berkman and Delgado for 1B. Obviously Braun is one of the top power hitting OF in fantasy, and you can get steals from other sources besides just from Ellsbury. He will steal 50 or more bags for you and score a lot of runs (if he's hitting leadoff) but you've got to love Braun's power potential. I say go ahead and make the deal.
