I was thinking the same as earlier post. Keep Quentin, and trade Vlad for a pitcher. It may not be Liriano, but it'll be a good arm. I'd only make that trade if you were getting the two back.

Sorry to keep bumping this one but we are very close to making a deal. The current offer is my Longoria, Quentin, and Guzman for Kinsler, Liriano, and Tejada. I am about to pull the trigger unless some of you heavily disagree. As much as I hate to trade away the 3B of the future, I have Wright, and 2B and SS are major weaknesses for me. Kinsler will upgrade 2B to elite status, Tejada will upgrade SS to middle of the pack, and Liriano will be another ace in my staff. What do you think? Help and I'll surely return the favor.

Well, I don't think the value there is very good. You're giving a second rounder and a high 3rd rounder for a borderline first or early second rounder for a pitcher whose velocity was down after TJ surgery and had spotty control and is unlikely to match his former dominance.
