if we have 11 teams and want 1 team to have a bye week every week how do i go about setting that up

Nothing to set up, Yahoo just does it that way if there are an odd number of teams.

Unless I'm forgetting something, we will not let a h2h league draft with an odd number of teams.

My bad. Was it football that allows an odd number of teams with one getting a bye every week? I know it was somewhere.

It can happen in the playoffs but not in the regular season. You can have a 6-man playoffs schedule with two byes in the first round, though, that may be what you're thinking of.

Any league I've ever been in in any fantasy sport will not let you run H2H leagues with an odd number of people...

There is something sort of goofy we do that may have led to your confusion. On your league home, you can see the schedule for your league. In pre-draft mode, if you have an odd number of teams, it shows you a schedule and that schedule involves teams having byes. However, if it comes to be draft time and you still have an odd number of teams, your league will not draft, so you can't actually have a schedule like that. Note there are also warnings on your league home telling you that you can't draft/proceed with an odd number of teams.

Not sure why the schedule module on the league home does that. Probably an old historical thing that is low on the priority list to fix.
