Sorry to say it but your pretty weak for an 8 team league. Is it roto? If you want to have a chance to win you need to deal Berkman for a top tier starter and hope that Podsednik pans out.

Nevin hurt his shoulder again and is a question mark. Also in an 8 team league Torii Hunter isn't a starter, you'd be better of with Hildalgo playing instead (thus your bench should be Hunter and Nevin).

Also I'd cut Edgar Martinez and try a fine a pitcher who will be great for you. Maybe a prospect like Joe Nathan or Edwin Jackson. The truth is that in an 8 team league you've got to go for high upside. Solid players won't win you jack. Also try and deal one of your closers for something useful. You have Chacon on your bench and you can always find another closer through the year. Maybe Ugi and Hildalgo for Chipper or something. (or Ugi and Thomas for Sexson). Note if you decide to deal Ugi you will be trading him at a low price because he has no team right now - i.e. you might want to trade a different closer.

I would try moving Thomas if I were you for a stud pitcher, just look for any teams in your league that are lacking first basemen or a solid utility guy and steal a good pitcher. Then play Pujols at first and either Hidalgo or Podsy at Util.

Someone in my league has almost no HR power but a ton of base stealers, should i try and trade for Carl Crawford or Rocco Baldelli by dishing Frank Thomas, or focus on pitching. As of now im trying to trade hudson for two lesser pitchers like morris/beckett/zito or maybe a RP too like Izzy. Any more suggestions. Thanks for the help so far.
