H2H League with basic point scoring (1B=1 pt, 2B=2 pt... K=-1). We have 2 Utility spots.
We are midway through a slow draft and my roster so far is: C 1B - Morneau 2B - Kinsler 3B - ARod SS OF - Beltran OF - Bay OF - Kemp U U
My pitchers are: Webb, Liriano, Kershaw, and Shields
Still available 3B options are: Chipper, Atkins, Huff, Zimmerman, Gordon, Beltre...etc
The deal is Holliday for ARod. I know I have my OF already set up, but I am just wary of ARod's situation and feel like getting rid of him is the best option.
I was just wondering what some other's thoughts are... Will Holliday be worth it in OAK??
Thanks in advance!

I would pass on that. It's not that Holliday is not decent value but you already have your OF pretty slotted in, not sure you need to open up 3B for the whole season just to fill your Util slot.
I might consider doing it for an elite pitcher based on your lineup.

agree with this comment 100%, would look to get a top arm for him over a bat with the way your lineup is shaping up right now... not like hes gone the whole season, but if your really worried about how much you will lose with him out then yes i would go after an arm for him...
I dont like that move at all... arod still has tons of value... but you're right... he could be playing everyday by mid-May... it could be nagging him all season. It sounds like the surgery went well, so i'd lean towards the former... and if that's the case... you could bring in more for him.
Here's to you, Mr. Robinson. Jesus loves you more than you Cano.
Not that you shouldn't trade him at all but with the team you currently have, you can withstand Arod's absence. It's H2H, so just plug somebody in there until he returns. You'll be fine. No need to deal him IN YOUR SITUATION.
The dropoff at 3B is huge if you're going to sell Arod. Although Holliday is a great stats guy, it's only his potential that could equal Arod's actual numbers. Chipper is one-dimensional in terms of fantasy and Gordon is probably the next best 3B on the board which I'm sure you could get both in later rounds if you wanted but, along with Holliday, wouldn't total Arod's numbers, except maybe steals.
