I think Jayson Werth is a 4th outfielder at best he is also injury prone and won't hit like he did last year, also JD Drew will not be any good this year, on alot of waivers players like Adam Lind and Jeremy Hermida should be available and both could hit .280+ 25 hr. You could also use real speed as well.
I don't mind having Jayson Werth as my OF3, he was drafted in the 11th round. I'm aware I need some speed, but I figure I can grab that in a later trade. That's why I took Corey Hart, he's a 5 cat contributor. Werth I figure will either hit in the 2 hole or 5th/6th spot, depending on where they put Victorino. Which to me translates to either lots of runs and/or RBIs. And he'll give me a decent amount of SBs wherever they put him. 3 categories for a round 11 pick? I'll take it.
And JD Drew? Drafted in round 20. When he's healthy and on, watch out. I'll certainly take that kind of gamble in round 20.
I don't mind having the OF that I've got, they are young, had excellent seasons last year and are about to bud I feel.
Anyone else have opinions? A cheap source candidate for SBs? I just noticed Carlos Gomez is available, I'm thinking I'm gonna dump Giambi for him when the wires open up tomorrow morning.
Thanks for commenting on mine- I like your offense except for your OF, which I am definetly not a fan of. There is no way that Werth should be a #2 OF. However, I love Corey Hart this year as I think he will have a big year (not a # 1 though). Your pitching is pretty good, so I might package a pitcher and Werth for an upgrade in the OF.

I've got Conor Jackson down as my #2 OF and Werth as my #3. Do you have ideas as to what types of players I should target in a trade and which players of mine I should include in the trade package?
Well a couple of sleepers like Adam Lind .280 ba 25 hr or Adam Jones, he has been working on his basestealing and should grab 25-30 sb, also could hit 15-20 hrs
Both are taken, I'm thinking I'm gonna hit waiver wires tomorrow and drop Giambi and Napoli [he's not gonna start the season to begin with] for Carlos Gomez and Randy Winn. When I put Smoltz on the DL, I figure I'll grab Napoli back as insurance to Sandoval.
If I were to target the two players you listed, who should i offer to the owner?
