Give up Figgins/Verlander for Mags/Aviles?

I've been offered an interesting trade idea by a guy in my league. I'm thinking about doing it because a) I can't stand Chone Figgins and I already have plenty of steals on my team, and b) it just seems like a good value deal for me, regardless of the fact that I have a crowded OF. My league tends to have a flurry of trades before the season starts, so I am confident I can flip one of the OFs for help at 2b/ss/3b.

I give: Chone Figgins + J. Verlander + 1 Bench type player (of the Tejada/Jones/Garland variety)
I get: Magglio Ordonez + Mike Aviles + 1 SP out of K. Slowey/C. Volstad/M. Pelfrey

Thoughts? And any advice on the last player to add on each side? Thanks and WHIR as always.

Yes thats a great trade for you (ask for Slowey might out produce Verlander) like you said you have enough steals theres really no reason not to do this trade

I would do it and try to get Pelfrey if possible and give up Garland.

great trade for you, id def do it...i go either slowey, or pelfrey (my preference is pelfrey, but most people think slowey will put up better numbers, i just have pelfrey as a breakout this year), and i give up probably garland

Yeah, I'd do the deal too just for Ordonez (I don't see Aviles panning out quite as well as last year) and I'd push for Slowey out of the 3 SP.

Ended up being Figgins, Verlander and Tejada for Magglio, Aviles, and Slowey, which is the best way it coulda turned out.
