what seperates Inoa and Portillo?

Postby BeachBums » Mon Mar 09, 2009 7:09 pm

Mike Inoa Adys Portillo

I now these 2 players are extremely young. But i see Inoa ranked in many top 100's and really dont see Portillo mentioned much. Is the talent/projection level that much greater for Inoa or is it just based on the 4.25 million Inoa received? I love to hear what you know about these 2

Basically all projection/potential at this point. People fall in love with tall pitchers that are 16 and already hit low 90's. Then add the potential for a plus curve and that pretty much does it.

Yup, in 4-5 months time the rankings could be completely flip flopped between these two...thats how crazy/fun prospects are to follow....especially the 16-18year old guys.
