C: Jarrod Saltalamacchia (C)
1B: Joey Votto (1B)
2B: Freddy Sanchez (2B)
3B: Evan Longoria (3B)
SS: Jimmy Rollins (SS)
OF: Matt Kemp (OF), Alex Rios (OF), Andre Ethier (OF)
Util: Justin Upton (OF), Pat Burrell (OF)
BN: James Loney (1B), Cameron Maybin (OF), Colby Rasmus (OF) NA

Pitchers
SP: Jake Peavy (SP), Josh Beckett (SP)

P: Felix Hernandez (SP), Scott Kazmir (SP), Ricky Nolasco (SP)
BN: Chris Perez (RP), Ubaldo Jimenez (SP), Phil Hughes (SP), Tommy Hanson (SP) NA, Dan Wheeler (RP)

My youth is great. There's a ton of great prospects in the FA market since we don't have a farm system, just a big bench. I know I need a 2B but I cand live with my situation for now. What do you guys think?

Or, everyone could just ignore me despite promises of WHIR. Sure, why not.

I would agree with your statement. I would go ahead and drop Phil Hughes, he is way off my radar (he is at about Homer Bailey level). Is this a keeper league? If it is, nice job, if not, drop some of those prospects.

Would you drop Hughes for KAwakami or Rich Hill?

I like Hill despite his last year and I'm tempted Kawakami's a total unknwon to me. What do u guys think.

Kawakami > Hill. As terms of prospects, I would see if any of the following are available:
Madison Bumgarner
Trevor Cahill
Neftali Feliz
Tim Alderson
Brett Anderson
Derek Holland
Wade Davis
James McDonald.

Some of these guys are real close to ready (Holland, Davis, McDonald). Also, you could look at Smardzija for RP help, another name I like is Vin Mazzaro in Oakland, he might actually crack the rotation this year (doubtful).

Yea these guys are on my radar and available, but I thought a sure fire starter would be a good replacement. I was considering snatching Feliz, Anderson, or Gio Gonzalez. All of the above are FA, as well as Gio. Who do you think would be the wisest pick up?

Well, Gio is the only guy who MIGHT play this year, and I don't think he will suceed. If you want potential, Mad Bum is #1, if you want help this year, I'd go Wade Davis, Vince Mazzaro, or Smardizja, none of the other guys I could see producing this season.

Smard is doomed to the bullpen. Id love Mad Bum but he isn't in yahoo's system or I would have drafted him. I'm not sure about Gio failing thought. It's between him, Anderson, and Davis to me.

I don't know, personally, I still think Gio won't pitch very well for a few more years. Davis and Anderson both are in danger of not making the 25-man, but I would take Anderson's potential everyday over Davis
